Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party President Ravinder Raina on Monday said there are some inimical forces who want bloodshed to continue in Kashmir valley.
Our neighbour (without naming Pakistan) does not want that the people of Kashmir valley should live their lives peacefully, Raina said this while talking to mediapersons after visiting the house of police personnel Riyaz Ahmad Thakur who was killed by militants on May 13 at Gatwara in Pulwama district.
He said, Riyaz Thakur laid down his life for the safeguard of the country and it is our duty to look after his family including children.
The Police personnel was shot at and critically injured by the militants near his house in south Kashmir's Pulwama district and later succumbed to his injuries in an Army hospital.
Raina said, Our neighboring country does not want the people of Kashmir to live peacefully and their children prosper.
Some inimical powers want bloodshed in Kashmir and these killings are their own conspiracies, '' Raina said and added these people are enemies of peace and humanity.
He said Riyaz had given his life for the sake of the nation and the state government and police department will look after his family. The Children of Riyaz are our own and it is our duty to take care of them, he added.
